Overview
- Rocket Lab publicly introduced Ghost on Tuesday as a modular, containerized launch system that houses pad equipment, ground support and flight control in standard shipping containers.
- The system is built to launch two vehicle types: the 18‑metre Electron for small orbital satellites and Haste, a suborbital test vehicle derived from Electron.
- The company said the first two Ghost sites will be built at the Pacific Spaceport Complex on Kodiak, Alaska, to support planned suborbital flights for the U.S. Space Force starting next year.
