Robyn and Mechatok Release Paired Remixes as Two-Track Single

Overview

• The two-track single, released Tuesday, October 13, 2026, pairs Robyn’s new take on “Expression on Your Face” with Mechatok’s remix of Robyn’s 2010 song “Fembot.”
• On the reworked “Expression on Your Face,” Robyn adds a new verse and provides chorus support to the Ecco2k- and Bladee-led original.
• Mechatok’s update of “Fembot” reimagines the Body Talk-era track and has been used by Robyn as the opener at recent Sexistential Tour dates.
• The collaboration grew out of the artists’ recent onstage intersection in Berlin and is credited to Konichiwa and Universal-Island under exclusive license to Young, signaling formal distribution beyond an informal artist swap.
• The release highlights a cross-scene exchange that brings an underground electronic producer into Robyn’s pop framework and gives live audiences refreshed versions of both artists’ songs.
