Robin Williams's Former San Francisco Home Listed for $25 Million

Late actor's Bay Area residence features six bedrooms, a hidden bar, stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and preserved architectural elements from its original 1926 construction.

  • The former home of the late Robin Williams has been listed for $25 million. The actor, along with his ex-wife Marsha Garces, had extensively renovated and expanded the home in the early 1990s while preserving the original 1926 architectural elements.
  • The house, an Italian Renaissance-style villa located in the Bay Area, offers views of the Golden Gate Bridge and features six bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and a hidden bar for an exclusive speakeasy feel.
  • The home also boasts a unique design characteristic - a secret passageway between the children's bedrooms installed by Williams himself. Iguana and turtle metal figures on the home's exterior facade add further element of fun and whimsy.
  • The property spans over 17,000 square feet with the centerpiece being a 10,598 square foot villa on three levels. Other amenities include a wine cellar, multiple storage rooms, a separate one-bedroom apartment with its own entrance, and a fitness center with a full bathroom and sauna.
  • Williams, a beloved figure in the entertainment industry known for his roles in films such as 'Mrs. Doubtfire' and 'Good Will Hunting', resided in this property for more than a decade with his family before his passing in 2014. His ashes were scattered in the nearby San Francisco Bay.
