Robin Hayes Appointed CEO of Airbus North America

Former JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes takes the helm at Airbus North America, aiming to bolster the company's competitive edge over Boeing.

Robin Hayes, former CEO of JetBlue, has been named the new CEO of Airbus North America, starting June 3.
Hayes' appointment follows his departure from JetBlue where he served for nine years, stepping down for health reasons.
Airbus aims to capitalize on Boeing's current production challenges and regulatory scrutiny to increase its market share.
Under Hayes' leadership, Airbus plans to deliver 800 commercial planes by year's end, nearly double Boeing's projected output.
Hayes will oversee Airbus' commercial aircraft, as well as its helicopters, space, and defense businesses in North America.
