Robert Plant Unveils ‘Saving Grace’ Album and North American Tour

Following a preview cover of Low’s song, Plant will tour North America this fall with his new folk-blues ensemble.

Overview

  • Saving Grace, a self-titled collection of folk and blues reinterpretations, is due Sept. 26 via Nonesuch Records.
  • The band released its first single, a cover of Low’s “Everybody’s Song,” as a preview of the album.
  • Plant’s new ensemble features vocalist Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, string player Matt Worley and cellist Barney Morse-Brown.
  • The album’s tracklist spans traditional songs and covers by artists such as Memphis Minnie, Blind Willie Johnson, the Low Anthem, Bob Mosley, Martha Scanlan and Sarah Siskind.
  • A 14-city North American tour begins Oct. 30 in Wheeling, West Virginia, and tickets are now on sale.
