Gruden responded to Griffin's allegations by suggesting that Griffin was not 'good enough' and that Kirk Cousins, who replaced Griffin as the team's starting quarterback, 'was better'.
Griffin played for Gruden in Washington for two seasons, but their relationship was reportedly strained.
Both Griffin and Gruden have since left the Washington Commanders, with Griffin now working as an ESPN analyst and Gruden having served as an offensive consultant for the Los Angeles Rams in 2022.
