• The benefit concert “REK and Friends: Applause for the Cause” will take place August 28 at Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels
• Buc-ee’s has committed a $1 million sponsorship to bolster central Texas flood relief efforts
• More than two dozen artists are set to perform, including Tyler Childers, Miranda Lambert, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Cody Jinks and Jamey Johnson
• Tickets will be available Friday at noon CT via whitewaterrocks.com with general admission starting at $99 and an option to secure passes for local first responders
• Robert Earl Keen’s band will donate 100 percent of its tour merchandise revenue to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country
