Robbie Keane Named Head Coach of Hungarian Champions Ferencvaros

The Irish soccer legend takes on his latest managerial role as the club aims for continued domestic and European success.

Robbie Keane, former Republic of Ireland captain and record scorer, has been appointed head coach of Ferencvaros, replacing Pascal Jansen.
Ferencvaros, a 35-time Hungarian league champion, is pursuing its sixth consecutive domestic title and advancement in the Europa League.
Keane's first competitive match as head coach will be against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League on January 23, 2025.
The 44-year-old previously managed Maccabi Tel Aviv, leading them to a league and cup double and a strong European campaign in 2023.
Keane will join Ferencvaros' training camp in Spain alongside assistant coach Rory Delap and analyst Phill Hudson.
