Overview
- Rob Burrow’s family led the ribbon-cutting at Seacroft Hospital, with his son Jackson opening the dedicated centre.
 - The facility was delivered through a £6.8m campaign run by Leeds Hospitals Charity with major support from Kevin Sinfield and more than 17,000 donors.
 - Designed with input from patients, families and clinical specialists, the centre reflects the Leeds MND Service ethos of treating people rather than conditions.
 - The MND Association called the opening a transformative moment for people with MND across Leeds and West Yorkshire.
 - Construction finished less than 18 months after Burrow’s death in June 2024, marking a rapid turnaround from fundraising to opening.
