'Road House' Remake Starring Jake Gyllenhaal Set

Gyllenhaal Transforms into a Former UFC Fighter for the Amazon Prime Video Film Directed by Doug Liman

Jake Gyllenhaal stars in the remake of the 1989 action movie 'Road House', set to release on March 21, 2024 on Amazon Prime Video.
In the new film, Gyllenhaal plays a former UFC fighter who takes a job as a bouncer in a roadhouse in the Florida Keys, discovering that not everything is as it seems in this tropical paradise.
The film is directed by Doug Liman, known for 'The Bourne Identity' and 'Edge of Tomorrow', and also stars Daniela Melchior, Billy Magnussen, and UFC star Conor McGregor.
A sizzle reel released by Amazon Studios includes a brief glimpse of a muscular Gyllenhaal in a boxing ring and a scene where he takes on a group of adversaries in a parking lot.
Gyllenhaal, who previously played a boxer in the 2015 film 'Southpaw', made a surprise appearance at UFC 285 in Las Vegas while shooting scenes for the movie.
