Overview

• SFMOMA confirmed that RM will co-curate the exhibition with América Castillo and Hyoeun Kim.
• The presentation runs from October 2026 through February 2027 in San Francisco.
• Roughly 200 pieces will pair works from RM’s private collection with selections from SFMOMA’s holdings.
• Korean artists including Yun Hyong-keun, Park Rehyun, Kwon Okyon, Chang Ucchin, and Kim Whan-ki will appear alongside Western masters such as Mark Rothko, Henri Matisse, Georgia O’Keeffe, Agnes Martin, and Paul Klee.
• SFMOMA proposed the collaboration as an exclusive U.S. presentation that will put some works on public view for the first time.
