RKC goalkeeper Vaessen recovering after collision in Ajax match

RKC Waalwijk goalkeeper Etienne Vaessen was knocked unconscious in a collision with Ajax striker Brian Brobbey.
Vaessen received medical attention on the field before being taken to a hospital.
The match was abandoned in the 84th minute with Ajax leading 3-2.
Vaessen has regained consciousness and spent a "good night" recovering in the hospital.
