Rivian Spinoff Also Launches $4,500 TM-B E-Bike, Inks Amazon Deal for Cargo Quads

The startup is moving to production with a software-first micromobility platform that Amazon plans to deploy in urban delivery hubs starting in 2026.

Overview

  • Also unveiled the TM-B, a modular Class 3 e-bike built around its DreamRide pedal-by-wire system, delivering up to 28 mph pedal assist, a 20 mph throttle where allowed, and an estimated 180 Nm of torque.
  • The removable battery comes in 538Wh or 808Wh options with USB-C fast charging up to 240W, regenerative braking, and a 5-inch Portal touchscreen for navigation, media, and settings.
  • A connected security suite locks the battery, wheel, and frame on walk-away, provides GPS/LTE tracking and tamper alerts, and allows remote disable; the modular top frame swaps between solo seat, cargo rack, and bench without tools.
  • Preorders are open now for a $4,500 Launch Edition shipping in spring 2026, with a $4,500 Performance trim in the first half of 2026 and a Base model priced under $4,000 arriving later in 2026.
  • Also previewed TM-Q four-wheel pedal-assist quads for bike-lane use and announced a multi-year partnership with Amazon to deploy thousands across more than 70 micromobility hubs in the U.S. and Europe beginning in 2026; the Alpha Wave helmet debuted with rotational impact protection, integrated lights, and audio, and reporting highlights recent funding and planned Rivian showroom sales with third-party service and financing.
