Rivian Launches Limited California Dune Edition R1S and R1T for Off-Road Enthusiasts

The special edition EVs feature a desert-inspired design, enhanced off-road capabilities, and exclusive interior and exterior details.

The California Dune Edition is Rivian's first limited edition for its R1S SUV and R1T truck, designed for off-road performance in desert environments.
Both models feature the Tri-Motor powertrain, delivering 850 horsepower, 1,103 lb-ft of torque, and a 0-60 mph acceleration in 2.9 seconds, with an EPA-estimated range of 329 miles.
Exclusive features include a new California Dune paint color, a two-tone Adventure interior with durable Sandstone and Black Mountain finishes, and all-terrain equipment like reinforced underbody shields and recovery boards.
The vehicles come with standard off-road-focused packages, including 20-inch all-terrain wheels, spare tires, and a Soft Sand driving mode for navigating challenging terrains.
Pricing starts at $99,900 for the R1T and $105,900 for the R1S, with the California Dune Edition available for order now and set to appear at SXSW in March.
