Rivian Launches Discount Offer for Gas-Powered Vehicle Trade-Ins

Rivian introduces up to $5,000 in discounts for trading in specific gas-powered vehicles towards new electric models, including a year of free charging.

Rivian's 'Electric Upgrade Offer' targets owners of popular gas-powered models like the Ford F-150 and Toyota Tacoma, offering discounts up to $5,000.
The promotion, which runs until June 30, 2024, aims to boost electric vehicle adoption and includes models such as the R1T and R1S.
Trade-in vehicles must be 2018 or newer and include models from Ford, Toyota, Jeep, Audi, and BMW.
In addition to the discount, Rivian is offering one year of free charging at Rivian Adventure Network sites to further incentivize the switch to electric.
The offer comes as part of Rivian's efforts to compete in a market with softened demand for premium electric vehicles.
