Rivian Expands Commercial Van Sales to All U.S. Businesses

The EV maker ends Amazon exclusivity and opens orders for its RCV 500 and 700 models to fleet customers nationwide.

Rivian's commercial vans, previously exclusive to Amazon, are now available for purchase by any U.S. business with a registered fleet.
The company offers two models, the RCV 500 and RCV 700, with starting prices of $79,900 and $83,900, respectively, and both qualify for a $7,500 federal tax credit.
Rivian has delivered 20,000 vans to Amazon so far, with plans to fulfill a 100,000-vehicle order by 2030, while also conducting successful trials with other large fleets like AT&T.
The vans feature safety tools like automatic emergency braking and 360-degree visibility, as well as integrated software for fleet management and operational efficiency.
This move marks a strategic shift for Rivian as it seeks to diversify revenue streams and stabilize its financial position while preparing for the release of its R2 SUVs in 2026.
