Overview
- On Monday at about 10:44 p.m. a masked man brandished a sharp object, took purses and phones when the cash register held no money
- On Wednesday around 8:15 p.m. a suspect wearing all black grabbed a purse from an employee-only area and body-slammed the worker before fleeing in a red SUV
- Police say no one sustained serious injuries and one victim declined emergency medical services after the assault
- Chicago police continue to investigate both incidents and have made no arrests
- The Dandy Crown plans to bolster on-site security and has formally requested support from the City of Chicago
