Overview

• Uddhav Thackeray will address Shiv Sena (UBT) supporters at Shivaji Park from 5 pm, while Eknath Shinde’s faction meets at the Nesco Exhibition Centre at 6 pm after abandoning waterlogged Azad Maidan.
• Shinde urged workers from flood-hit Marathwada, Vidarbha and North Maharashtra to skip Mumbai and help farmers, positioning his rally as a relief and fundraising effort.
• Mumbai Police have deployed more than 16,500 constables and nearly 2,900 officers with SRPF, QRT, BDDS, dog squads and other units, including 300-plus personnel at Shivaji Park and over 200 at Nesco.
