- A multi-car collision at the Shanghai International Circuit left Ollie Millroy’s Ferrari engulfed in flames after contact between Neil Verhagen and David Chen in a battle into Turn 14, forcing the sprint race to be red-flagged and abandoned.
- Dutch driver Loek Hartog stopped his Phantom Global Porsche, used a fire extinguisher and pulled Millroy from the burning car in footage that shows the rescue took roughly 49 seconds from when Hartog left his cockpit.
