Rita Cetina Scholarship Sends Dec. 11 Payouts to Students With Surnames Starting With M

Year-end deposits are being staggered through Banco del Bienestar to manage volume.

Overview

  • The CNBBBJ’s December disbursement cycle for Rita Cetina began on Dec. 4 and continues on a surname-based calendar that is slated to conclude around Dec. 18.
  • Beneficiaries can confirm receipt of the transfer in the Banco del Bienestar mobile app, which shows balances and recent movements.
  • The Rita Cetina program pays 1,900 pesos bimonthly per family with an extra 700 pesos for each additional secondary student in the same household, delivered during the school year for up to 30 months.
  • The scholarship targets low-income households with children enrolled in prioritized public schools located in vulnerable or highly marginalized areas.
  • Separately, Benito Juárez upper-secondary stipends are also paying on Dec. 11 for the letter H under a schedule the CNBBBJ says runs through Dec. 22.
