Ringo Starr, 84, revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that he has never eaten pizza or curry, citing allergies to several ingredients that make him ill immediately.
Despite never having tried pizza, Starr starred in a 1995 Pizza Hut commercial promoting their stuffed crust pizza, though he did not eat the food on camera.
Starr's dietary restrictions are consistent with his long-standing vegetarian lifestyle and allergies to common ingredients like onions and garlic.
The musician appeared on the show to promote his new country album, 'Look Up,' which debuted in January and features collaborations with artists like Alison Krauss and Jack White.
Starr's recent Nashville concert, benefiting the American Red Cross and wildfire relief efforts, will be released as a Paramount+ special this spring.
