The doorbell records 2048 x 1536 resolution video with a 159-degree field of view and offers both greyscale and color night vision, although color night vision performance may vary depending on lighting conditions.
The Ring Outdoor Camera Pro Battery records 1080p HDR video with a 155-degree lens and includes radar technology for extended motion detection up to nine meters and 3D motion tracking.
Both devices require a Ring Home subscription for full functionality, including cloud storage, person and package detection, and up to 24/7 recording, with plans starting at £4.99 per month.
The devices are designed for DIY installation, with weather-resistant builds and optional accessories like a plug-in chime for the doorbell and a solar panel for the outdoor camera.
