• The installation opened June 5 at Vitra’s Weil am Rhein campus, remaining on view through June 27.
• The Aluminum Stool merges Rimowa’s signature grooved shell and multiwheel system with Vitra’s upholstered storage interior and carries a €2,200 price tag for 1,000 pieces.
• The Aluminum Toolbox reinterprets Arik Levy’s 2010 design in anodized aluminum lined with recycled fabric, is priced at €550, and is limited to 100 units.
• Manufacturing is split between Rimowa’s Cologne aluminum facility and Vitra’s textile workshops on the Vitra Campus, reflecting each brand’s material craftsmanship.
• Both designs will be available for purchase on June 18 via the Rimowa and Vitra websites.
