O'Keefe claimed he was "removed" from Project Veritas but the organization says he resigned amid allegations of misconduct.
Project Veritas alleges O'Keefe spent $150,000 on luxury car services and $10,000 on a helicopter flight using company money.
O'Keefe launched O'Keefe Media Group, a rival to Project Veritas, while still working for and being paid by Project Veritas, the lawsuit claims.
