‘Riding Santas’ Celebrate 10 Years of Charity Motorcycle Tours in Southern Germany

The Harley Davidson Riding Santas raise funds and distribute gifts for children’s hospice care in their annual holiday event.

The Harley Davidson Riding Santas, a group of bikers dressed as Santa Claus, marked their 10th annual charity ride through southern Rhineland-Palatinate on December 6, 2024.
The group visits schools, senior homes, and public events, distributing gifts and collecting donations for the Sterntaler children’s hospice in Dudenhofen.
Last year, the Riding Santas raised a record-breaking €179,000 through donations from individuals, businesses, and fundraising events.
This year, the group distributed 3,750 sponsored gifts, including 800 kilograms of sweets, during their stops across the region.
The Santas’ tour includes appearances at local Christmas markets, where additional fundraising activities, such as auctions, contribute to their cause.
