• Cortege began at 9:45am at the Cheshire Cheese in Gee Cross, heading through Hyde toward Manchester Cathedral for a noon, invitation-only service.
• Stops and passes include Harehill Tavern, The New Inn for a dove release, Hatton’s Gym, Hyde Town Hall, Betta Bodies Gym and the AO Arena.
• After the service, the procession continues to Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium for a final public tribute before a private committal.
• Police say no cause has been disclosed but they continue to rule out suspicious circumstances after Hatton, 46, was found at his Hyde home on September 14.
• Family say he had been “in a good place” and preparing a December bout in Dubai, as supporters organise tributes and launch the Ricky Hatton Foundation and related mental-health fundraising.
