• The Hatton family, via Frank Massey & Son, announced a celebration-of-life service at Manchester Cathedral at 12pm on Friday, October 10, with entry by invitation only.
• A funeral procession route will be published so the public can line the streets and pay respects as the cortege heads to the cathedral.
• At Manchester City’s home match on Saturday, Hatton’s daughters led the teams out as fans displayed banners and a silhouette tribute inside the Etihad.
• Manager Paul Speak, who found Hatton at his Hyde home on September 14, told Boxing News he believes the boxer did not intend to take his own life and said he called police and an ambulance.
