Rick Nash Appointed Blue Jackets' President of Hockey Operations

The former star forward and franchise icon will oversee player development and all aspects of the team's hockey operations.

Rick Nash, the Blue Jackets' all-time leader in goals, assists, and points, has been named President of Hockey Operations.
Nash, who played for the Blue Jackets from 2002 to 2012, has been with the team's front office since 2019.
He previously served as the Director of Player Development and was promoted following his stint as GM for Canada’s national team.
General Manager Don Waddell praised Nash's intelligence, passion, and significant impact on the organization.
The Blue Jackets also announced Zach Abdou as Senior Manager of Hockey Operations and Basil McRae as the new Director of Pro Scouting.
