Rick Hendrick Buys First 2025 Corvette ZR1 for $3.7 Million at Auction

The NASCAR Hall of Famer's purchase supports charity and adds to his extensive Corvette collection.

Rick Hendrick, a NASCAR Hall of Famer and avid car collector, acquired the first production 2025 Corvette ZR1 for $3.7 million at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction.
The proceeds from the sale will benefit the American Red Cross and support relief efforts for recent natural disasters in the U.S.
The 2025 Corvette ZR1 features a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 1,064 horsepower and a top speed of 233 mph, with a base price of $174,995 for standard buyers.
Hendrick’s collection includes over 220 cars, with 122 being Chevrolet Corvettes, reflecting his lifelong passion for the brand.
This marks another year in Hendrick's tradition of purchasing the first production Corvette model, a practice he has upheld for decades.
