• The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office lodged the gross misdemeanor DUI charge on June 17, 2025, one day after receiving Sherman’s blood-test results from the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab.
• Sherman’s blood alcohol content measured around 0.11, above Washington’s 0.08 limit; he declined breath tests at the scene and at a patrol office.
• On Feb. 24, 2024, a Washington State Patrol trooper stopped Sherman’s Tesla on Interstate 405 in Renton for traveling 79 mph in a 60 mph zone with erratic lane movements and detected signs of intoxication.
