Overview

  • The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed a gross misdemeanor DUI charge on June 17 after receiving blood-test results from the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab.
  • Sherman refused breath tests at the scene and at a patrol office before officers took a blood sample that showed a BAC of approximately 0.11.
  • The charge includes an enhancement for refusing a breath test and stems from a Feb. 24, 2024, traffic stop on Interstate 405 in Renton where he was clocked at 79 mph and observed veering in his lane.
