Richard Branson to Co-Pilot Space Perspective's First Crewed Balloon Flight

The mission, set for 2025, will take passengers to 20 miles above Earth in a luxurious, hydrogen-powered capsule.

Richard Branson will join Space Perspective founders Jane Poynter and Taber MacCallum as a co-pilot on the maiden crewed flight.
The flight will use the Spaceship Neptune balloon to reach an altitude of 105,000 feet, offering breathtaking views without crossing the Kármán line.
The capsule features amenities like a fully stocked bar, fine dining, and restroom facilities, aiming for a comfortable six-hour journey.
Tickets for the commercial flights are priced at $125,000 each, with over 1,800 reservations already made.
Space Perspective has successfully completed an uncrewed test flight and plans further tests before the 2025 launch.
