• Sakonnet Lobster Co.'s Douglas Mataronas said his older brother caught the brightly colored crustacean on Thursday.
• The lobster is currently in a tank at the company's seafood market in Little Compton as plans for its disposition remain undecided.
• Mataronas told reporters it is unclear exactly where the animal was caught.
• This marks at least the third golden lobster reported in Rhode Island this year after finds tied to Newport in May and Warwick in July.
• The two earlier specimens were donated to Biomes Marine Biology Center in North Kingstown, which also houses a rare powder blue lobster.
