- Among the Rhode Island nominees are Bywater, Gift Horse, Tuxpan Taqueria, Giusto, and Courtland Club for national awards, and Dolores, Yagi Noodles, Foglia, Jahunger, and Newport Vineyards for New England awards.
- Rhode Island had a record-breaking five chefs among New England’s top 20, and Tuxpan Taqueria's nomination marks the first time a Central Falls restaurant has been recognized by the Beard awards.
