Rhineland-Palatinate Resident Wins Record €80.4 Million Eurojackpot

The historic lottery prize is the largest ever recorded in the 77-year history of Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz.

A lottery player from the Hunsrück-Nahe region of Rhineland-Palatinate won €80,437,425.70 in the Eurojackpot on Friday evening.
This marks the largest lottery win in the 77-year history of Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz, surpassing the previous record of €63.2 million set in 2019.
The winning ticket, purchased for €21.25, correctly matched the numbers 17, 34, 38, 42, and 48, as well as the Euro numbers 2 and 11.
The ticket was submitted at a local lottery retailer without a customer card, meaning the winner must come forward to claim the prize.
In addition to the jackpot, four other players in the second prize tier won approximately €643,000 each, including two in Germany.
