Overview

  • From July 14, Rewe will replace its classic stamp booklets nationwide, migrating all point collection and reward redemptions to the Rewe Bonus app.
  • Points are now added automatically at checkout and redeemed digitally, with an introductory offer of Vivo knives for €1 plus 70 points running through November.
  • In-store support teams will assist less tech-savvy and older customers in downloading and navigating the new loyalty app.
  • Rivals have adopted varied programs from Edeka and Netto’s Payback integration to Lidl Plus’s personalized coupons and Kaufland Card’s partner perks, and Aldi remains focused on low pricing without a loyalty scheme.
  • Rewe projects the digital shift will strengthen customer engagement, drive revenue growth and lift market share by up to 1.9 percentage points.
