Revolut Launches Spain ATM Network with Debut at Primavera Sound

Barcelona serves as Revolut’s testing ground for a planned roll-out of 50 ATMs across Spanish cities this month

Overview

  • First two Revolut ATMs went live at Barcelona’s Primavera Sound festival on June 4, enabling customers to withdraw cash without commission and non-customers to pay a fee.
  • Machines allow users to open a Revolut account and receive a physical card instantly at the ATM.
  • Dynamic currency conversion functionality is set to launch soon, giving users the option to choose Revolut’s exchange rate at withdrawal.
  • Revolut will install 50 ATMs in Madrid, Barcelona and other major Spanish locations by the end of June and reach 200 machines nationwide by late 2025.
  • The company plans to extend its ATM network into Germany, Portugal and Italy in 2026.
