‘Revenge of the Sith’ to Return to Theaters for 20th Anniversary

The 2005 Star Wars prequel will be re-released in select theaters for one week starting April 25, featuring new formats like 4DX and exclusive poster artwork.

Lucasfilm has announced the theatrical re-release of 'Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith' to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
The film will be available in select U.S. and international theaters for a limited one-week engagement starting April 25, 2025.
For the first time, the movie will be shown in 4DX, an immersive format with motion chairs and over 21 synchronized effects to enhance the experience.
A new poster for the re-release, designed by graphic artist Matt Ferguson, highlights key themes and visuals from the film, including Anakin Skywalker's transformation into Darth Vader.
Ticket availability and additional format details, such as potential IMAX or Dolby Cinema screenings, are yet to be confirmed.
