Revel and Le Pontet Detail Semaine Bleue Lineups Focused on Seniors and Volunteerism

Overview

  • Revel’s CCAS is featuring 11 portraits of local volunteer “heroes” across 22 town-center shops, with displays continuing at the cinema and on the town’s YouTube channel through October 12.
  • On October 8 in Revel, volunteers will present their activities to children at the Saint-Ferréol leisure center as part of the intergenerational outreach.
  • Revel hosts free CCAS activities on October 9, including a cooking workshop, a shared meal and a muscle-awakening session, plus two guided walks that stop at portrait sites.
  • Le Pontet will hold a senior health and fitness forum on October 7 from 14:00 to 17:00 at the salle des fêtes, covering home services, financial aid, mobility, adapted housing, medical support, caregiver support, nutrition, well-being and stress management.
  • Le Pontet’s week concludes with a “marche bleue” on October 10, alongside offerings such as the café Part’Age, varied workshops and dance demonstrations.
