Overview
- Speaking in his Kodangal (Kosgi) constituency, the Chief Minister announced industrial plans and a Special Development Fund of Rs 5 lakh for small villages and Rs 10 lakh for major gram panchayats.
- He highlighted welfare delivery, saying the government supplies fine rice to poor families, provides 200 units of free electricity, has disbursed Rs 9,000 crore under Rythu Bharosa in nine months, and offers free RTC bus travel and one crore sarees for women.
- Revanth Reddy declared that K. Chandrasekhar Rao would not regain power while he remains active in politics and projected Congress victories of 87 seats out of 119 or over 100 if seats rise to around 150 after delimitation in 2029.
- He invited the opposition to debate in the House, naming Kaleshwaram, Krishna and Godavari river water sharing, and alleged phone tapping as topics, and said the BRS could decide the duration.
