• Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy hosted EAC-PM chair Prof. S. Mahendra Dev at his Jubilee Hills residence on July 12.
• He stressed cooperative federalism as essential for decentralised growth and national progress.
• Reddy formally requested that the Centre reschedule high-interest loans inherited from the previous administration and grant rate relief to free up revenue for development projects.
• Prof. Mahendra Dev pledged that the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council would offer policy advice and support for Telangana’s ‘Rising 2047’ growth roadmap.
• Despite repeated visits to Delhi, formal approvals for marquee urban infrastructure projects such as Hyderabad Metro Phase II and the Regional Ring Road are still awaited.
