• BYU transfer Jake Retzlaff totaled 265 yards, throwing for 152 with a touchdown and adding 113 rushing yards, including a 69-yard score in his Tulane debut.
• Tulane’s defense intercepted Northwestern quarterback Preston Stone four times and turned the first three picks into 17 points to build a 20-3 halftime lead.
