• Grocery chains such as Kroger and big-box retailers including Walmart and Target are operating under their regular hours.
• Select chains have reduced schedules on July 4: Trader Joe’s closes around 5 p.m., ALDI at 4 p.m., and Sam’s Club serves Plus members from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Club members from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Costco is the only major national retailer fully closed for the holiday.
• Shoppers can still use online banking and ATMs, and critical services like FedEx Custom Critical and UPS Express Critical continue to run.
