- Undeterred by her only turn from Reba McEntire during the blinds, Rachele Nguyen triumphed over Mac Royals, a four-chair turner, in their battle round on Team Reba McEntire. Their song was 'How Deep Is Your Love' by The BeeGees.
- Even though he did not win his battle round, Mac Royals was quickly stolen by John Legend because of his 'buttery' vocal and his sound being a perfect fit for Team John Legend.
