• The 4K-restored version of Pyaasa premiered in Mumbai as the flagship event of Guru Dutt’s 100th birth anniversary celebrations.
• The National Film Development Corporation, the National Film Archive of India and Ultra Media collaborated on the digital restoration of six landmark films.
• Javed Akhtar, Sudhir Mishra, Hansal Mehta and R Balki shared anecdotes and praised Dutt’s pioneering visual approach during the tribute panel.
