- Apex Legends will become unplayable on the original Nintendo Switch on Aug. 4, 2026, when Season 30 begins, and that version will no longer connect to servers.
- Season 29 is the final update for the original Switch release before service ends.
- Beginning Aug. 4, Apex Coins will no longer be purchasable on the original Switch, and any existing balances can be used before the cutoff and then accessed on Switch 2.
