Rescues Underway in Telangana After Manair River Surge Traps Cattle Grazers

  • Heavy rain in the district delivered 132 mm in Ellanthakunta and 92.5 mm in Gambhiraopet between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
  • At 6:30 p.m., inflows into Upper Manair Dam reached 83,256 cusecs, taking the reservoir to its full capacity of 2 tmc ft as operations continued.
