Overview
- Seventy-six army personnel were airlifted from the Chaten area on June 7, marking the completion of coordinated evacuation efforts.
- By June 6, four helicopter sorties had evacuated 80 people—63 tourists and 17 local residents—from Chaten to Pakyong Greenfield Airport.
- A multi-agency team including the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, NDRF, SDRF, BRO and local authorities conducted air and ground operations since the June 1 landslides.
