Rescue Efforts Intensify for Eight Workers Trapped in Telangana Tunnel Collapse

Rescue operations involve multiple agencies, including the NDRF, SDRF, and Indian Army, with specialized equipment and personnel deployed to clear debris and ensure ventilation.
Challenges include knee-deep mud, water accumulation, and unstable boulders, which have hampered efforts to locate and establish contact with the trapped workers.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been in communication, with the central government offering full support for the rescue mission.
The SLBC project, designed to provide irrigation and drinking water to Telangana districts, resumed construction just four days prior after years of delays.
