  • Homestead-Miami is reported to host the championship on Nov. 8, replacing Phoenix as NASCAR begins rotating its season finale.
  • A new street course in San Diego at Naval Base Coronado is slated for June 21, with five road and street events on the 2026 slate.
  • Mexico City and the Chicago Street Course are reportedly off the calendar, Chicagoland returns July 5, Watkins Glen shifts to May, and New Hampshire moves to Aug. 23 as the penultimate regular-season race.
  • The playoff map is reworked with Las Vegas moving into the Round of 12, Phoenix shifting into the Round of 8, Talladega remaining in the Round of 8, and Martinsville staying as the penultimate event.
  • The season is set to open with The Clash before the Daytona 500 on Feb. 15, Dover is expected to host the All-Star Race as North Wilkesboro gains a July 19 points date, a second off-week follows the Brickyard 400, Iowa lands Aug. 9, and the slate totals 38 events including two non-points showcases.
